Historic Bellefonte

Charming Bellefonte was established in 1795 and has been home to seven governors hosting stunning examples of Victorian architecture. Spending time in Bellefonte is like stepping back in time or onto the set of a Hallmark movie. The history of the area is deep and rich as are the gorgeous views that surround. Bellefonte is a town that is chock-full of history at every turn. From its buildings to industry to the people who called Bellefonte home, it has a cool story which we welcome you to take in. There is a historic book of Bellefonte in each condo.

Local Historia hosts walking tours telling the story of this quaint town in a compelling and entertaining style, definitely not like your high school history class. Getting Around

Our condos are a quick 10-minute drive or car service ride to/ from SCE - State College University Park Airport serviced by Delta, American, United Airlines, and all things Penn State University. We also offer 1 off-street parking spot with each condo rental as complimentary. Additionally, we are located a short 10 minutes from Interstate 80.

Talleyrand Park ​is​ ​truly ​one of the most beautiful town parks​ we have visited​.​ ​Located on the bank of Spring Creek, th​e​ park ha​s​ picnic tables, benches, and walking paths​. The setting ​is​ absolutely serene with the towering willow trees, ducks, and beautiful landscaping. Take some time to enjoy the gazebo or bring a picnic​, ​people-watch at lunch​ or feed the trout​ (a favorite for kids).

    • Bellefonte may be one of the most convenient places to go fly-fishing as Spring Creek runs right through town.​ ​Make sure you have the proper fishing license, and no fishing is allowed from the banks – you must be in the water when fishing the section in town.​ ​This isn’t the only reason Bellefonte is a great fishing destination though. According to the Bellefonte Chamber of Commerce, there are five other “world-famous fishing streams” only a half hour away.
